Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) belonging to the Khavinson class of short peptide bioregulators, originally derived from the bovine pineal gland extract cytomedine and studied for its interactions with telomere regulatory mechanisms.
